DOES YOUR PRESCHOOL/DAYCARE OFFER YOUR CHILD THE FOLLOWING?
SAINT JAMES HAS ALL THAT AND MORE! VOTED BEST PRE-SCHOOL IN THE AREA, TWO YEARS IN A ROW!
PRESCHOOL PROGRAM St. James Preschool Program was developed to awaken a desire for knowledge while encouraging exploration and creativity in the young learner. We provide a warm, caring environment to facilitate opportunities in all areas of growth and development. Our staff fosters an atmosphere of kindness and Christian values to enhance independence and cooperation. We offer a 3 year old program focused on social skills, cooperative play, manners, clear self-expression, development of fine and gross motor skills and enhancement of self-esteem through hands-on exploration. Our 4 and 5 year old sessions are designed for those children preparing to enter kindergarten the following year. This is a literacy rich environment which uses a program called Big Day for PreK which includes many books to prepare students for kindergarten. It also incorporates all aspects of our curriculum and serves as the building block for the Saint James kindergarten program. Our concentration covers these areas - personal & social development, early language & literacy, mathematics, religion, creative arts, health, science and social studies. Some of our enrichment activities include music, art, physical education, library, French and cooking, which are led by the certified teachers of Saint James School. Students also join others at school wide events. We offer half-day and full-day sessions along with extended care. Parents may choose 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week. Flexible scheduling and additional before and after care options are also available. See below for the rates for the 2018-19 school year and we have ongoing enrollment.
