Anyone that would like to see one of the Saint James teachers name in lights, go to the Sea Dogs game on Thursday, April 23rd. Please let Helen know in the office and if enough people are interested, we would be able to get discounted seats of $5.00 each. Seven of Saint James teachers will be recognized on Teacher Appreciation Night for the work that they do above and beyond. It was hard to decide as all the teachers here are so dedicated but this year we will honor these Magnificent Seven. They were Estelle Beauchesne, Rita Gervais, Karen Morris, Julie Noble, Deb Peck, Lynn Roy and Kathy Theriault. Estelle runs the choir and the play each year, Rita has worked with students and teachers to assist in reading. Karen helped set up the science lab and ran the First LEGO League. Julie helps to coordinate Student Council and Students to Sisters. Deb is always the first to help out when assistance is needed and runs several band performances throughout the year. Lynn is the chair of the Safe Schools Committee and is the faculty adviser for the yearbook. Kathy is responsible when I am out and assists in the cafeteria and coordinates the Art Walk. Congratulations to all!
